Southeast Alaska fjords and mountains

Our Story

Built for the Edge of the World.

BlackFin was born from a simple obsession: bring the most extreme personal watercraft experience on the planet to the most spectacular marine environment in North America.

The Location

Why Petersburg?

Petersburg, Alaska isn't on the way to anywhere. You come here on purpose. Tucked between the Tongass National Forest and the Frederick Sound, it sits at the intersection of raw wilderness and open ocean; humpback whales, orca pods, Steller sea lions, and bald eagles sharing the same water you'll be tearing through.

We chose Petersburg because it's the last place you'd expect to find something like this. And that's exactly the point. The Seabreacher doesn't belong in a theme park. It belongs here; where the water is cold, the mountains are real, and the wildlife doesn't care that you're watching.

BlackFin opens May 2027. One machine. One passenger at a time. No crowds, no queues, no compromises.

The Machine

The Seabreacher

Not a Jet Ski. Not a Submarine. Something Else Entirely.

The Seabreacher is a semi-submersible performance watercraft engineered to mimic the movement of a marine predator. It dives, breaches, rolls, and launches; piloted by a trained captain through an aircraft-style cockpit.

Powered by a 325hp engine, it reaches surface speeds over 55 mph and can dive to 6 feet below the surface. The orca-shaped hull isn't just aesthetic; it's functional hydrodynamics, designed to move through water the way nature intended.

How We Operate

The BlackFin Standard

01

One Rider at a Time

This isn't a group tour. Every ride is a solo experience — one passenger, one machine, 40 minutes of pure Alaska. No waiting for the group, no sharing the moment.

02

Captain-Piloted

Your BlackFin captain pilots the Seabreacher so you can focus on one thing — the experience. Every dive, breach, and sprint is in expert hands while you take it all in.

03

Real Alaska

We operate in open Southeast Alaska waters. The wildlife, the weather, the scenery — none of it is manufactured. What you see out there is what's actually there.
